The Delta City Mall is a $55 million retail facility being developed by South African financier; Resilient Property. The mall is situated in Effurun, Delta State, which is a gateway to the Capital, Warri. Delta City Mall is one of many malls being rolled out by Resilient, the others being: Asaba Mall, Owerri Mall and the Benin City Mall. The Delta City Mall is however the largest of their current portfolio, with a total GLA (Gross Leasable Are) of 13,980m2. As shown in the table below, that would make it the 11th largest mall in Nigeria, upon completion in March 2015. The Anchor Tenants of the mall are: Shoprite, Mr Price and Jet (All South African Brands). Shown above are construction images from the site in Effurun. |

Nigeria's retail facilities are mostly financed by Nigerian Financiers, with South African Anchor Tenants. The Delta City Mall is however one of the few facilities that has both South African capital and occupancy.
