Overview
The project is a commercial twin tower development valued at $250 million. It is a simple curtain wall box twin tower design, yet it still maintains a degree of elegance. It has a podium design, which is a feature almost entirely absent in the Nigerian architectural field, yet promoted as a necessity in "Urban Centres" in the developed world. Podiums create setbacks, which promote views, relieve obstruction and also invite the public with outdoor cafes/restaurants and retail. The danger however lies, when podiums are closed off to the public and used for non street interaction. Nipost towers does have a number of "negative" car parking penetrations, however it also appears that retail spaces will occupy a large part of the podium, and this can only be praised.
Parking
According to plans, it does appear that the facility has basement parking (Although this has not been confirmed by Black Border Build). Street Level parking, is however provided as well.
