Depicted in the Lamudi infographic above are the 9 tallest buildings in Africa. Seven of the Nine are in South Africa. Necom House is the tallest in Nigeria and third tallest in Africa. PSPF Towers in Tanzania is the latest entrant to the list, as construction continues at a fast pace in the East African City.
The table below however shows that Lagos will be looking to challenge more in the future. Lagos Island is the historic centre of high rises in Nigeria, but the Victoria Island/Eko Atlantic City axis is where all the growth is, now and in the future. We predict that at least two buildings from Eko Atlantic City will break into the top ten tallest in Africa, in the next 10-15 years and there will be much more in the top 20-50, of Africa's tallest.
