Inner Southern Expressway (ISEX)
Inner Northern Expressway (ISEX)
The OSEX project is a 6.28 kilometre project which is one of the smallest of the core expressways in Abuja. ONEX for example has two Lots of 19.5kms each (totalling 39 kilometres). INEX is a 14km expressway, while ISEX, which we have previously discussed, is a. 3.8 km road. Airport road is 37.5 kilometres in length. Key contractors in the development of these expressways are: Setraco, Dantata-Sawoe, Julius Berger & Gitto Group
Nonetheless OSEX remains a crucial part of the Abuja road network, as it links up with the ISEX through the Southern Parkway. The OSEX project is being spearheaded by Chinese contractor China to Overseas Engineering Co. Ltd. (CGCOC). The project has a roadbed width of 78.7m. The project features four overpasses and three pedestrian bridges. The project is being constructed to the highest standard engineering specification available in Nigeria.
