Rainbow Town, Port Harcourt is a master-planned community that was initiated by the Rivers State Government, with the backing of private equity institutions such as First Bank. The project includes a mixture of accommodation types. There are penthouse units with (1 bedroom - 5 bedrooms) located in 25 residential towers, terraces and detached houses to suit all needs. Rainbow Town is a development that comes with the full package of recreational facilities, medical/educational institutions, shopping and much more. Security, will be managed with well placed surveillance systems. The end goal, is to deliver 1,181 Units.
Avid followers of the Nigerian property market, will be privy to the fact that this was a development that was initiated in 2010, yet has still not being finalized. Saddled with contract variations, delays and budgetary inflation; Rainbow Town had essentially slowed down, almost completely - until recently.
Work has intensified of late and the following images (Sourced from kel4soft) are proof of this latest development. It remains to be seen, whether they will be able to meet the 2015 deadline, but work forges ahead.
